Julie Christensen (Jooj) is a self-taught artist originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan. In 1995 Julie moved to California to pursue her interests in art. She began her career in Los Angeles, California designing and creating sets for both corporate events and independent films. Julie also attended extensive workshops studying the art of European plaster techniques and began incorporating this art form into her explorations of new mediums. Utilizing her experience in the decorative art industry, Julie started her own business, and since 1997 has added her expert touch to homes and businesses throughtout the United States.
